Our policy is flexible. Cover is available for buildings and contents or both. Accidental damage cover is also available on optional basis.

• buildings and contents sum insured increased automatically for protection against inflation
• accidental damage to mains services and breakage of glass and sanitary fittings is automatically included with buildings cover
• new for old cover on contents (excluding clothing and linen)
• Optional personal possessions cover is available to protect items taken outside the home including whilst overseas (subject to policy terms and conditions)
  • Unspecified personal possessions cover, for items up to £1,000 and bicycles up to £400; and
  • Specified cover for items with higher values are individually listed
  • Optional Legal Expenses cover to pursue claims such disputes that may arise if you buy goods which turn out to be faulty
• "No claims" discount available
• Age discounts available
• Monthly premium payment option available (subject to terms and conditions – service charge applies)

Homesafe Insurance is accepted by mortgage lenders.

A £50 excess normally applies (£1,000 for subsidence claims under buildings insurance) and £15 for claims made under personal possessions covers.

Homesafe Conditions

Claims for theft, malicious damage and glass breakage are excluded if your home is left unoccupied or unfurnished for more than 30 consecutive days.
